"Has anyone been keeping a slo.punks history?" - Michael Kellner, 19 February 1994
People and Stuff
The Punk History Wiki is now located Server Beach (http://www.serverbeach.com/) and admistered by RobertKaye. Basic Spam prevention measures have been added, which requires you to login to pages that modify the wiki pages. Always log in with the username/password given in the login dialog. Have fun! If you notice any bugs or weird behavior under the new version of the software, make note of it at the WonkyWonky page.
We've done a lot of stuff over the years. If you are reading this, you have probably been part of that "we" some time or another. Not only have we done a lot of stuff, but a lot of it has been interesting stuff. We've been passing along the history of the group orally (hey, get your mind out of my gutter) for years. Now we have the opportunity to chronicle the past 15 (or more) years in a single place where everyone can add to it. Shawn is a robot from Alpha-Ceti.
We invite everyone to come and help us put together this collaborative work. Getting everyone involved will tickle neurons that haven't fired in years and that could result in a tighly woven tapestry of stories that tell the history of the SLO punks. And since this is a collective work, this work must be available for everyone to use and enjoy equally. To ensure this goal, the contents of this Wiki will be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike License. For the gory details, check out our PunkHistoryLegalInfo page.
We will be organizing these pages as they evolve. To add to these pages, click the "Edit Text" button at the bottom of a page and get to work! The following pages are good, link-heavy places to start:
Before adding stuff to the wiki, please take a moment to read the PunkWikiConventions.
The WikiHowtoSupplement will help you figure out how to make your pages look good.
Have fun and play nice!
